Serpentine Falls are great, lovely cold water and beautiful scenery. Just be careful of slippery rocks in the swimming hole. Kangaroos will come and try and steal your lunch but luckily they're cute.
Loved the experience of the park full of kangaroos n the lake is beautiful, but only venture in if you can swim.Make sure you reach early else they stop entry for cars after a certain limit has reached.
Great day out of the city. Pristine bushland. Picnic area with tables and BBQs along with resident Kangaroos which were very interested in what we were having for lunch. The falls and swimming area were beautiful. Though you do have to be careful entering and exiting the water as the rocks are very slippery. Public toilets near picnic area. Small charge per car at the front gate but well worth it.
Haven't been in years. Many great improvements to walkways and fencing. Just as I remember. Lots of big yabbies!
Nice for a walk, a picnic or BBQ, or even a swim at the falls. Wear proper shoes if you want to do the walks, my son got bitten by a fire ant today mucking around in the scrub while wearing thongs. No playground as far as I'm aware so if you have kids who's having a good time depends on that, perhaps try going to the dam instead. Although you do have a chance at seeing kangaroos here!
